  • About

In 2011 Christ Faith Tabernacle a local church that are based in New Cross near Peckham in London, embarked on a mandate to open a church to serve its already established congregation in the area of Woolwich London.

Apostle Williams purchased one of the most beautiful buildings in London to advance his ministry in the area and serve the local community through mission and fellowship. With over 2,500 seats and a hefty price tag for a building that needed refurbished this really was a task for those with a mission.

    The Works

An iconic, Art Deco building in Woolwich with a neo-classical interior. The concept and solution executed called for a sympathetic and yet practical approach, relying heavily on detailing and bespoke elements within key areas such as reception, entrance foyers, upper foyer leading the balcony and main auditorium. Working in conjunction English Heritage, Local Conservation Team and Cinema Theatre Association, Richmond sourced all fixture and fittings include new tip up cinema chairs, using period cast iron framework.

The end result provides for a luxurious and yet reverend place of worship, and at the same time addressing the needs and facilities of a modern church.
